Property Manager of the Year 2020: Mortensen Immobilien chooses EverReal

• Innovative IT solutions and digitized business processes were key factors in the jury's decision

Munich, September 15, 2020 - With the Hamburg-based company Mortensen Immobilien e. K., the VDIV honored a company at this year's German Property Management Day that has been working largely paperless in property management since 2018 and has been relying on the digital leasing solution from EverReal since August 2019. The criteria considered by the jury, which were decisive for achieving the top position, included the use of innovative IT solutions and digitized business processes in the company, which is active in the areas of residential and commercial property management, brokerage/agency work, and construction management/project development.

Mortensen Immobilien was spun off 30 years ago from a long-established Hamburg real estate company and can look back on four generations of experience in all aspects of property management and marketing. The most recent generational change five years ago presented a unique opportunity to combine existing expertise with the vision of holistically digitized property management. The resulting solution uses Spacewell's iX-Haus as its core system. At the same time, EverReal and other innovative proptechs were integrated to improve transparency, efficiency, and communication. To provide owners with optimal information, a comprehensive property and portfolio reporting system was developed in-house, which the owner can access via a portal.

One of the features offered by EverReal, which is of particular importance to Mortensen Immobilien, is the largely digitized leasing process. All key sub-processes from marketing to prospect management, including smart tenant matching and applicant management, are almost completely digitized.

In addition to EverReal, Mortensen Immobilien also uses other innovative software solutions such as casavi and sees this as an essential foundation for scaling the business and driving the company's further growth.
