VDIV - ​​Association of Property Managers Germany

The VDIV represents the interests of professional property and real estate management companies in Germany. It promotes modern political and economic framework conditions, a sustainable professionalisation of the industry and new business perspectives.

Around 3,400 property and real estate management companies are already affiliated in ten regional associations. The total volume of managed units is 7.6 million, of which 2 million are rental units and 5.6 million are managed WEG units. The value of the managed units amounts to 765 billion.

For its members, the association is the central point of contact for legal, technical, commercial and professional policy issues and developments.

Giving ideas for an attractive job profile

The general shortage of skilled workers in the housing and real estate industry is also increasingly becoming a challenge for property management companies. In order to remain successful in the future, it is therefore necessary to actively recruit, retain and develop employees in the long term. Here, the VDIV Germany supports management companies as a provider of ideas in the development of their own personnel strategy.

Enable exchange between administrative companies and service providers

The task of the property manager is the optimal management of residential property. This includes the use of innovative products and services to optimise processes and costs. To this end, the VDIV brings together property managers and service providers and acts as a competent contact.

Support the digitisation of the industry

The digital transformation is continuously advancing and offers diverse opportunities in the further development of the property management industry. As a result, the digital ecosystem of ERP service providers, PropTech companies, energy service providers and metering service companies is growing. The VDIV therefore promotes the active exchange of the various digital service providers in order to develop solutions with the help of which property management companies can use the offers of the various companies efficiently and without media discontinuity.
